New

Time for another semester to start.

Great classes are going to be had and fun all around. I didn't make any new year's resolutions but I never do. I guess I need to make one to keep on writing. Never stop. Well, I guess that doesn't go for DA. Keep on plugging along. I still love all the work on this site (DA, not necessarily mine)

Keep plugging along, you never know what you're going to get.

What's that song again?

Summer is almost over.
To be honest though, I'm ready for another 9 months of school.
Worked at a movie theater the past 2 months and had a lot of fun, making friends and seeing movies.

I leave on Wednesday.
Got to visit Caruso, The Coach's Love, Dillmeier, and Wilson today.

Also, Melissa's Birthday, woohoo!
Dinner and some stimulating talking with her friends (Kelley, Sarah and Gibby)

Note to self: Remember to call Brandon.
2nd note: Keep writing that story!

The only thing that remains to be said is: Sleep or read?--my eyes beg sleep but my brain won't listen. :D

  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: shuffle! (i'm on 709 of 2773!)
  • Reading: Ye Gods!
  • Watching: Rocky and Bullwinkle, Season 1

It's the truth.
Haven't submitted much lately...been too busy with school and finals.
Gah.
But, good news, I'm done for the semester and have been home for a couple days.
I'm on my way a tad north this afternoon to Georgia...family get togethers are becoming harrowing adventures that I am loathe to undertake.
(talk about dramatic!)
But! I get to see one of my favorite cousins, have some cheap eastern cobb arab food and see the Darjeelnig Limited.
Can't wait!

Much love to every one and have a fantabulous holiday.

Say NO to Chaucer

Wed Oct 3, 2007, 1:48 PM
  • Mood: Eager
  • Listening to: Inner Monologue
  • Reading: Chaucer and HHGG
  • Watching: Sword in the Stone
  • Playing: With my feet
  • Eating: My finger
So.
Not saying that Chaucer wasn't a brilliant man, but why couldn't SOMEONE change his language to somehting more understandable?
Garrrr.
I only have to read the general prologue right now and already I'm going insane!

On a brighter note, studies are going well so far and the Neil Gaiman book I ordered will be coming in on Firday
(Dreamscapes...or something, the new one)

On an even brighter note:
I will be going back home Nov. 9 to attend Miami's annual book fair!
I'm super excited :D
